'Ashamed': Trinamool leader slams own government in Bengal over law & order

A Trinamool Congress leader has slammed his own government in West Bengal over the law and order situation in the state. Arjun Singh, a former minister in the Mamata Banerjee government, said that he was "ashamed" of the state of law and order in Bengal.

Singh's comments come in the wake of a series of high-profile crimes in the state, including the murder of a BJP leader and the gang rape of a minor girl. Singh said that the government has failed to protect the people of Bengal and that the law and order situation has deteriorated under the Trinamool Congress rule.

"I am ashamed to be a Trinamool Congress leader. The government has failed to protect the people of Bengal. The law and order situation has deteriorated under the Trinamool Congress rule," Singh said.

Singh's comments have drawn sharp criticism from the Trinamool Congress. The party's spokesperson, Kunal Ghosh, said that Singh was "trying to create a false narrative" about the law and order situation in Bengal.

"Arjun Singh is trying to create a false narrative about the law and order situation in Bengal. The reality is that the law and order situation is much better under the Trinamool Congress rule," Ghosh said.

However, Singh's comments have resonated with many people in Bengal, who are concerned about the deteriorating law and order situation in the state. A recent poll by the CSDS-Lokniti found that 62% of people in Bengal believe that the law and order situation has deteriorated under the Trinamool Congress rule.

The poll also found that 58% of people in Bengal believe that the state government is not doing enough to protect the people from crime. The law and order situation in Bengal is a major issue for the state government ahead of the next assembly elections. The Trinamool Congress will need to address the concerns of the people if it wants to retain power in the state.
