Oh boy! The last two days might have been nothing more than a fever dream for Mumbaikers and Maharastrians I can bet. The political twists and turns by the 2 factions of the NCP while playing in the Grand scheme of things related to the Maha Vikas Aghadi and the tenets of unity of the opposition parties. I can promise you every and all political analysts that have been studying the scenes of policies in India would be stuck in a whirlwind of “He said, She said” from multiple sources and to add to that the fight over the NCP party symbol is sure to send them on a one day “IV Drip Trip” to their nearest hospital. But the question remains. What do the people think? Especially in this case where “Anti-Defection Law” comes into place, what about the kingmakers: the citizens of Maharashtra. I can completely understand the dilemma of the voters. It might seem a bit incoherent and the votes might seem meaningless if some party that you didnt vote for just comes in and scoops away the ministers for the party you did vote for. These are the testing times when it comes to politics. I can assure you with all my consideration “Your Vote Counts” and it does even more in such troubling times. So do vote for the person you truly believe in rather than the party you believe in be it the NCP or BJP because that will be the biggest difference between an ‘elected’ government and a ‘selected’ government. But at the end of the day i would like to reiterate what i always say about politics in general and would love to use the words of Adi Shankarcharya - “Sab Moh Maya Hai” (“Everything is an illusion”)
