In this time of turmoil, violence, and bloodshed, where many Manipur brothers and sisters have been forced to flee their homes, we realise how a lack of hope and faith may damage a person. It is difficult to leave your house, which is regarded as a "safe haven" for the people of Manipur.
When ethnic confrontations occur and no one speaks up for the people, the people of the country will! Every person, whether through social media or other ways, shall stand in solidarity with our Manipur brothers and sisters. Whatever the political party's position is, whether through silence or an outpouring of sympathy, what Manipur needs right now is law and order, and for that, I ask that people keep up with news and information about Manipur, and that media personalities who would rather look away from such situations continue to report and inform the masses.
'Manipur' is the name of our state. A piece of 'Our' country. If we raise our voices, no political party, left or right, will be able to turn a blind eye to this slaughter. This isn't about 'Meitei' and 'Kuki' or 'Naga'; it's about the lives and livelihoods of 'Indians'. The only priority of any and all party members, whether Congress, BJP, or others, should be to alleviate the instability that is occurring in Manipur.
May the law, constitution, and people of Manipur protect the state, and may God protect the people of Manipur. Until then, we will continue to fulfil our civic duty of journalism by raising awareness about the plight of our brothers and sisters in Manipur.
Jai Hind!
